{The Style}

Your wedding day is just as important to me as it is to you. I know how special this day is and how much preparation, blood, sweat and tears go into making your day perfect because I myself, was recently a bride. I married my husband, Eric, on August 22, 2009 in Washington, DC. Photography was a TOP priority for me, because I knew that I wanted someone there that could capture the little moments that would most likely pass me by. My groom carrying on a tradition of throwing a football around with his groomsmen before the ceremony, my grandmother laughing with Eric's grandmother, the details I worked hours on were recorded with photographs.

I take the time before your wedding to get to you know, usually with an engagement session and many emails and phone calls. On your wedding day, my style is relaxed and laid back, but efficient. I work with you or your planner to ensure all of your "must have" shots are taken care of as well as help you work in an appropriate amount of time for me to capture the details of your wedding day. During the getting ready part of the day, I typically do a few more "stylelized" shots with your shoes, dress, and flowers. The ceremony and reception tend to be more photojournalistic in nature. I do formal family shots, when requested, but like to keep the majority of my time after the ceremony open for the bride and groom.

My goal is to not only be your photographer, but to become a good friend who will know which moments need to be captured in time, forever. In order to do this, I only accept a limited amount of weddings per year and spend quality time with each of my couples from start to finish! I use professional quality print labs, and album companies so that your photographs can be displayed in a way in which you may enjoy them for years to come!
